Build a thrilling marble raceway with twists and turns!
Construct an exciting marble run with multiple levels, curved tracks, and a spiral finale. Watch marbles race down ramps, around corners, and through a corkscrew spiral before landing in the collection cup.
“A cool marble run.”

Step 1: Lay out all wooden panels, blue 3D-printed parts, screws, nuts, washers, and the Allen key. Check that you have all pieces.
Step 2: Insert the back wall and side walls into the base plate slots. The tall back wall goes along the long edge.
Step 3: Attach support-bracket-1 to the back wall using M3x8mm screws about 100mm from the left edge. This will hold the highest platform.
Step 4: Mount the high platform on top of support-bracket-1 using M3x8mm screws. This creates your marble starting point.
Step 5: Install support-bracket-2 lower on the back wall (about 60mm from left) and mount the mid platform on it.
Step 6: Attach support-bracket-3 to the left wall and mount ramp-1 on it at an angle sloping down toward the center.
Step 7: Position ramp-2 on the base, angled from the mid platform area down toward the right side of the base.
Step 8: Place ramp-3 on the base, angled from the lower area toward where the spiral tower will go.
Step 9: Install the curved ramp guides on ramps 1 and 2 using M3x6mm screws. These prevent marbles from flying off at corners.
Step 10: Mount the spiral tower in the center-right area of the base using M3x10mm screws through all four mounting holes.
Step 11: Position the marble collection cup near the spiral tower exit and secure with M3x10mm screws.
Step 12: Test the marble path: Place a marble on the high platform and watch it roll down the ramps, around corners, through the spiral, and into the cup!
Step 13: Adjust ramp angles if needed by loosening screws and repositioning. The marble should maintain speed throughout the run.
This Spiral Marble Run kit was designed entirely by artificial intelligence based on a young inventor's idea. Every InventShack kit features precision laser-cut 1/8" birchwood plywood panels, custom 3D-printed PLA components, and real M3 socket head cap screws with hex nuts — the same hardware used in real engineering projects.
Unlike mass-produced building kits, this design is one-of-a-kind. The AI selected from a library of parametric component templates — base plates, side panels, wheel discs, axle mounts, rubber band hooks, corner brackets, and more — then configured each part's dimensions to create a working build. All holes align to a 10mm grid system, ensuring every part connects properly.
Perfect for kids ages 8-10 who love building, inventing, and engineering. Whether you have a laser cutter, a 3D printer, or just want to see what AI can design — InventShack turns kids' ideas into real, buildable projects.
